The Story Behind PS Crafts

Before there was PS Crafts, there was Mom.

My mom was the epitome of comfort and love. She was the person I could tell absolutely anything to without fear of judgment. She was my sounding board, my voice of reason, and sometimes the person who gave me permission to be emotional when I needed it.

She was also, in my mind, the Mr. Dress Up of crafts.

She had a plastic tote filled with the most wonderfully random collection of craft supplies. There was no real plan when that tote came out. She would bring it over, we'd spread everything out, and we'd simply see what we could make with what we had.
Some of my fondest memories are those simple moments—creating something out of nothing, experimenting, laughing, and spending time together.

That same tote now sits in my craft room.
It may just look like a plastic tote filled with random supplies, but to me, it's a reminder of where this all began. A reminder that creativity doesn't have to be perfect or planned. Sometimes you just start with what you have and see where it takes you.

That's really what PS Crafts has become for me.

What started as a love of creating grew into a place where I get to experiment with resin, color, texture, glass, flowers, shells, and all the little details that make a handmade piece uniquely its own.

Every piece I create carries a little bit of that original spirit with it—the curiosity to try something new, the joy of making something with your hands, and the belief that something beautiful can come from the most unexpected things.

My mom gave me more than a love of crafting. She gave me a safe place to be myself, the confidence to create, and memories I will carry with me forever.

PS Crafts is my way of keeping a little piece of that creativity—and a little piece of Mom—with me.

Made with heart. Inspired by Mom. Created by me.
